Earthlight is an independent film and television production company founded by filmmakers Jordan Reeve and Tom Reeve. We create films with ambition, intelligence, and heart; stories that travel the world but stay rooted in something real.
Between them, Jordan and Tom bring nearly sixty years of production experience across Europe, North America, and Australia. They’ve produced, financed, and distributed films for major studios and independent partners alike, generating more than half a billion dollars in worldwide revenue.
Earthlight was founded to bring that experience into a new kind of production company. One that balances creative daring with commercial discipline. We develop stories that resonate, attract world-class talent, and are built on a foundation of trust and collaboration.
The idea for Earthlight began in conversations between father and son. Tom, a veteran producer and director with a catalogue of international features, and Jordan, a third-generation filmmaker who rose through the industry from camera assistant to Head of Production at a London studio.
Across years of shared work and late-night discussions about the state of independent cinema, they recognised the same frustration: too many good stories were being lost between creativity and commerce. Earthlight was born to bridge that gap; a place where art and industry work together, not against each other.
Today, with a base in Ireland and partnerships across Europe, the UK, and the US, Earthlight is building a slate of projects that reflect its founders’ shared philosophy: to make films that last, not just open well.
